TO-MORROW'S FOOTBALL
RUGBY The annual Payne trophy match between the premier teams of Canterbury aud Otago, Canterbury College and Union, will tie played at Carisbrook at 3. As a curtain-raiser the primary schools representative match between Otago and Southland should provide a bright open game. The Canterbury College team arrived this afternoon, and is staying at the Grand Hotel. Official guides will be on sale at the Otago Sports Depot, Jacobs’sj and Carisbrook, and will contain particulars regarding the teams and players. SOCCER The final club match of the season will take place at Logan Park at 3, when the two leading teams in the Fletcher Cup competition, Mosgiel and Northern, will play off for the Chinese Cup. These teams met a fortnight ago, when after a close game the result was a draw, 3 all.
