ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
FRACTURED FEMUR. David Bandeen, a married man who resides at 725 a Cumboxdand street, was crushed by a hydraulic ram while lie was engaged at Ids work at Hillside. He was admitted to_ hospital at 10.45 this morning suffering from a fractured right femur. FOUND SHOT. 'A’ To Aroha Association message states that yesterday, at Manawaru, the body of Ivan Hogan (28), the son of Mr P. Hogan, of Manawaru, was found in the homestead paddock with a shotgun alongside. He was a hardworking farmer, and lately had suffered from ill-health. An inquest was opened for identification of the body and adjourned sine die*
