AMATEUR BOXING

NEW ZEALAND CHAMPIONSHIPS FINALS TO-NIGHT [Ter United Press Association.] INVERCARGILL, September 13. The semi-finals were reached in most sections of the New Zealand amateur boxing championships this afternoon and evening, and the tournament will be concluded to-morrow evening. There were many lively bouts this evening, but the most dramatic was in the middle-weight division. W. Enright (Southland) and R. Branch were expected to iprovide the best bout or the day, but it was over in five seconds with one blow, Enright using a terrific right hook. In the light-weight bout between M'Girr and Morris in the afternoon the judges gave a wrong decision in error, and in the_ evening they reversed the decision, giving it to Morris.
