ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR To hand from the Mayor’s Relief Organisation is a copy of the audited accounts for tbo year ended July 31 last. The receipts for the year were £0,370 IGs 2d, and included a credit balance of £337 Is 5d brought forward from the previous year. Donations for the year amounted to £3,685 Os lid, and included the sum of £3,399 received from art union allocations and £125 from the Community Singing Committee. Depot sales amounted to £2,348 13s lOd. The payments for the year amounted to £G,G64 18s 6d. Included in this amount aro depot purchases—Fuel, £3,902 _ 15a 6d; footwear, £572 13s 4d; clothing, £1,191 16s 4d; and leather, £lßl 7s la —a total of £5,848 12s 3d. . Sundry grants amounted toJ£l69_4s 3d. Other sundry expenses, including grocery orders (£9O 18s 10d) and flood relief (£2BO 9s 3d), accounted for the balance.
