GRANGE CRICKET CLUB
ANNUAL REPORT The sixty-first annual report of the Grange Cricket Club states that the senior eleven had a bad season, bub the intermediate team were runners-up in its competition, the second A team finished in fifth place, the second B No. 1 in_ fourth, and the second B No. 2 in third place. The membership of the club is satisfactory, and the wickets provided by the efforts of certain of the members w T ere in good order. The thanks of the club are tendered to the City Council and to Mr D. Tannock for the early preparation of and attention to the ground. The financial position of the club is reported to be satisfactory. Regret is expressed , at the deaths of Mr C. Clark (one of the club’s most promising juniors) and of Messrs J. Clark-Baker, A. Dawes, and G. Brooks (ex-members). The tee reports having madte complete arrangements for the celebration of the club’s diamond jubilee, and calls upon all members and ex-members to assist in making the occasion an outstanding success. _ Appreciation is expressed of the services rendered by a number of members and office-bearers, donors of trophies, and others.
