OTAGO ASSOCIATION Present at the executive meeting were Mrs C. Sonntag (in the chair), Misses it. Morton, A. Harley, R. Fairbairn, Mr Wallace. The grade competitions were declared' closed, the winners being: A grade, Kings; B grade, Taieri; C grade, Carlton. The Training College Club was granted permission to play a game against Milton at Logan Park outside ground on Saturday. The secretary was instructed to circularise clubs regarding further efforts to raise funds. " Final arrangements were made for the dance in Wilson Hall on September 16 and the Town Hall dance on September 23. All players are urged to keep in touch with their club or the association secretary in connection with final arrangements for the monster invasion carnival for September 27 to 30. It was decided to hold A and C grade trial matches on Saturday in view of representative matches the following week:—A grade at Oval 1 and C grade at Oval 3, both at 3. The following A grade players are asked to be present: R. Patterson (Momona), E. Symou, M. Fisher. H. Robinson, S. Calder. E. Sonntag (Kings). I). Brosnan. R. Morton. A. Mackie, B. Mackie, B. Henry (Kings). . A suggestion was made that all nockev girls interested be asked to join the St! .lohn Ambulance A.R.P. classes, and if there are sufficient players ottering a special unit is to be formed. Girls are asked to send their names and addresses to their club secretary or to the secretary of the association.
