SATURDAY'S SPORTS MEETINGS ST. KILDA. The St. Kilda Club’s first sports meeting for the season was held at Forbury Park under good conditions. Good entries were received for all the events, and additional interest was created by the introduction of competitive racing events among some colts from the Glendining Boys’ Home. The boys’ events resulted; —75yds handicap: A. Campbell 1, W. Campbell 2, L. Watts 3. The relay race resulted in the same order. Open events: —100yds handicap: L. M‘Kay 1, PL Talbot 2, L, Dickison 3. 220yds handicap: L. Al'Kay 1, E. Talbot 2, R. Beatson 3. 880yds handicap: R. Beatson 1, L. Dickson 2, T. Beatson 3. Broad jump: R. Baldwin (3ft), 20ft Sin, 1; E. Jakeway registered the best jump of 4ft 9in. CAVERSHAM. The Caversham Club continued . the series of events in connection with the Frye Cup competition, which was begun a fortnight ago, the following events being decided at Forbury Park: — Javelin throw; R. Morrison (42ft), 137 ft Sin, 1; E. J. Flockton (45ft), 132 ft, 2; J. H. Guthrie (38ft), 130 ft 9in, 3. The best actual throw was by R. Emmerson, with 117 ft lin. Broad jump: H.
