SATURDAY'S SPORTS MEETINGS ST. KILDA. The St. Kilda Club’s first sports meeting for the season was held at Forbury Park under good conditions. Good entries were received for all the events, and additional interest was created by the introduction of competitive racing events among some colts from the Glendining Boys’ Home. The Caversham Club continued . the series of events in connection with the Frye Cup competition, which was begun a fortnight ago, the following events being decided at Forbury Park: — Javelin throw; R. Morrison (42ft), 137 ft Sin, 1; E. J. Flockton (45ft), 132 ft, 2; J. H. Guthrie (38ft), 130 ft 9in, 3. The best actual throw was by R. Emmerson, with 117 ft lin. Broad jump: H.
