WRESTLING

TO-NIGHT'S CONTEST Rube Wright, the big wrestler from Texas, was called upon to face a formidable opponent when he met Earl M'Cready in opening his New Zealand tour at Dunedin, and he will have another tough match when he appears here again to-night at the Town Hall with Prince Bhu Finder in the other corner. Wright has had experience in several countries since he started his professional career, but so also has Finder. Like Wright. Finder has wrestled under different styles. Since he learned the Indian style at the training school of the groat Gama, at Lahore, he has wrestled at Hongkong. Shanghai, and nearly all the important Canadian and American cities. Among the Indians he was ranked third or fourth, and when he took up the catch-as-catch-can style about five years ago he quickly beat most of the men tent in against

him even though these included such high class wrestlers as Sanclor Szabo, Jaget Singh, Barban Singh, Tiger Duala, Gus Sonnenberg, Cy Williams, and others. At 28 years of age he weighs 16i stone, is sft llin m height, and is at the peak of his form. Those who have seen him in action say he is the most colourful, fastest, and most versatile of the Indian wrestlers who have been to this country. His first meeting with Wright ranks with the most important matches held m New Zealand this season. Further particulars are advertised.
