GEORGE WINS DULL BOUT [Pj-:r United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, October 8. Ed Don George (16.6) defeated George Pencheff (15.5) by two falls to one m a dull contest this evening. George was too strong for his opponent. He gained a fall in the fourth round with a press after an exchange of jolts and a scries of dumps. Pencheff equalised in the fifth round, when George submitted to one of Pencheff’s specialities, the short-arm scissors. The deciding fall was gained in the seventh round by George with a press following a slam and dumps.
