Attention of Residents on the Western Side of the Harbour is drawn to the possible danger to children on the foreshore when vessels are passing in the channel owing to the wash created by some of the modern types of vessel. Owners of launches and other craft are also notified that precautions should be taken to safeguard their vessels when on slips, etc., within reach of the wash of vessels.
