FIRE IN DUBLIN
BATTCRY FACTORY DESTROYED THREE FIREMEN KILLED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, October 6. (Received October 7, at 11 a.m.) When the fire brigade chief called the roll after a fire which destroyed the Exide Batteries factory in Dublin, three firemen were missing. The bodies of two were recovered. The firemen are searching for the third. Three explosions which occurred during the fire are believed to have shattered the floor on which the victims were standing.
