The House met at 2.30 p.m. _ Mr Wright gave notice of Ms intention to introduce the Wellington City Empowering Bill, and Mr Holyoake to introduce the Motueka Harbour Board Amendment Bill. Mr Bodkin was granted three days, leave of absence on account of illness. The second reading debate on the Industrial Efficiency Bill was continued* It is reported elsewhere.
