Owing to an overhaul of the plant the Mossy Creek mine was idle last week, there being no return to report. Dredging operations were resumed to-day. MOTUROA OIL FIELDS. The following report for the three months ended September 30 has been received from New Plymouth:— No. 1 well: Produced 1,940 imperial gallons of crude oil; total production to date, 66,453 imperial gallons. No. 2 well: Produced 28,056 imperial gallons of crude oil; total production to date, 789,982 imperial gallons.
