SHOT FIRED
A DOMESTIC DISPUTE MAORI CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER [Pee United Peess Association.] WANGANUI, October 6. As the result of what is alleged to have been a domestic dispute between two brothers and the wife of one, Matthew Hill (31), a Maori, was charged with attempting to murder Alice Hill, and was remanded to October 14, bail being given self in £2OO and two sureties of £2OO. It is alleged that a rifle was fired in the house. The bullet penetrated the door and went out through the roof, and no one was injured.
