LABOURER SENT TO PRISON [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Octpber 6. A labourer, Ignatius Patrick Cormick (45), appeared for sentence in the Police Court this morning on a charge of stealing two books, valued at 10s, the property of Arthur Kingi, on September 23. He was also charged with failing to comply with the terms and conditions of his release on probation at Wellington on June 20. The police said that Cormidk stole the books from a room which he had shared with a missionary.
