ACTION AGAINST HOSPITAL BOARD TOTAL DAMAGES £260 [Pee United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, October 0. Damages amounting to £l6O were awarded by Mr Reid, S.M., to Mrs Caroline Thomas, who claimed £3OO from the North Canterbury Hospital Board. Mrs Thomas claimed that when she was a patient in the Christchurch Hospital she was badly burned as a result of a hot water bottle being placed on Lor thigh while she was unconscious. The board had paid £IOO into court.
