VISITING ATHLETES
WELLINGTON SUPPORTS SCHEME [Pee United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, October 6. Support for the proposed visit of two Japanese athletes early next year was given by a meeting of the Wellington Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association. _ Thb centre als» decided to co-operate in any endeavour to secure the visit of the American athletes who will probably be touring Australia. A letter from tha N.Z.A.A.A. said it was proposed to invite a jumper and a middle distance runner. The total expenses will b* about £4OO.
