FATAL COLLISION
BRILLIANT YOUNG ATHLETE’S DEATH [Pck United Press Association] WELLINGTON, October 5. On the eve of his eighteenth birthday, David H. Tolan, a printer, died in hospital from injuries received in the Kaiwarra Gorge last Thursday, when a motor cycle he was riding collided with a bus. Tolan was an all-round athlete with a distinguished record in cricket, football, tennis, hookey, swimming, and badminton.
