FORTY-HOUR WEEK [Per United Press Association.] GEEYMOUTH, October 5. The Arbitration Court this morning considered the application of the Grey Valley and Duller Deputies and Underviewers’ Association for a 40-hour week. Mr T. O. Bishop, for the employers, announced that, as a result of conferences, a complete agreement had been arrived at. The hours were to be 40 a week, with no restriction of work required on Saturdays or Sundays, time off to be given for hours in excess of 40. The court made the necessary order.
