BADMINTON
UNAFFILIATED CLUBS’ TOURNEY KAYE AND MRS ANDERSON WIN SINGLES A successful and enjoyable badminton tournament was held in Brydone Hall on Saturday night by the clubs of the city which are not affiliated with the association. The entries totalled 113, representatives of six clubs, and tli reo shared the honours. Kaikorai captured the ladies’ doubles, mixed doubles, and the ladies’ singles, and St. Paul’s representatives won the men’s doubles. Mosgiel’s top, man finished up winner of. the men’s singles. Adcock had a strenuous night by the time he faced Kaye in the final; but the latter player merited his win. Both men smash well, and can put power and variety into their strokes.
