FOUR-BALL BOGEY HANDICAP Ideal conditions prevailed for the four-ball bogey handicap, played on the Belleknowes links on Saturday afternoon, which resulted in a tie between two pairs—F. Haigh and E. Ellison and S. Little and S. Roberts—with a score of 5 up. Other good cards were:— J. Cartwright and G. Bell, 4 up. J. Morrison and L. Rennet. 3 up. R. Penman and W. Wilkinson, 2 up. S. Angell and M. Wilkinson, 1 up'. W. Cook and G. Abbott, 1 up. F. Kennedy and F. Sharpe. 1 up. M. Connors and M. Williams, all square. P. Hunter and G. Hopkins, all square. E. Simpson and N. Wales, all square. Another “ hole in one” was recorded during the week, when S. Little sank his tee shot at the seventh.
