Gale is to load here to-morrow from Bluff for Wellington and Wanganui via Timaru and Lyttelton. Karu was expected to arrive to-day, and will go to Bavensbourne in the morning, to load and sail for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth via ports. Waipiata is expected to leave Wellington to-day for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff. She is due here on Wednesday, and will sail the same day. Holmdalo arrived this morning, and will sail to-night for W’elington, Pictou. Wanganui via Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton. Kaimai was to leave Westport on .Saturday for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, and Lyttelton. She is due here tomorrow. Holmglen is due_ on Thursday from Wellington. She is expected to sail the same day for Wellington, New Plymouth, and Waikato. Breeze is due here on Monday next from Wellington. After discharge she will proceed to Port Chalmers to dock for annual overhaul. Storm is now due here on Saturday next from Wellington, Pictou. and Wanganui. Wingatui leaves Auckland on Friday for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. —Overseas.— South Africa, from Los Angeles via Australia, ai-rived on Saturday to begin discharge of her oil cargo. She sailed yesterday for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland to complete. Limerick was delayed by rain, and sailed on Saturday for Melbourne, Sydney, Suva, Lautoka, Vancouver, and San Francisco. Hororata berthed at Port Chalmers on Saturday to complete discharge of her New York cargo. She will lie up at Port Chalmers after completion of discharge. Rotorua, from West Coast ports via northern ports, is due hero on October 13. Walrangi is due at Port Chalmers on October 10 from London via Lyttelton. She is scheduled to leave here on October 14 for Bluff and Timaru to complete. and is then to load at Wellington. New Plymouth, Napier, and Auckland. Waikouaiti is due at Port Kembla to-morrow and at Sydney on Thursday, to sail for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, and Lvttelton. She is due liere on October 14. Tokyo Maru arrived at Wellington to-day from Japan, and is expected here on Thursday. Canadian Highlander arrived at Auckland l yesterday from New York and Montreal, and is due here on October Ifi. INTERISLAND EXPRESS. The interisland express steamer Maori arrived at Lyttelton from Wellington at 6.55 yesterday morning. TRANSPACIFIC MAIL SERVICES. —Northbound.— Maunganui left Sydney on September 24 for Wellington and San Francisco via Rarotonga and Papeete. She arrived on September 28 at Wellington, and is due at San Francisco on October 46. Mariposa is to leave Sydney on October 14 tor Auckland and San Francisco via Suva, Pago Pago, and Honolulu. She is due at Auckland on October 17 and at Sau Francisco on November 2. Aorangi is to leave Sydney on Thursday for Auckland' and Vancouver via Suva and Honolulu. She is due at Auckland on October 12, and at V ancon ver on October 30. Niagara is to leave Sydney on November 5 for Auckland and Vancouver via Suva and Honolulu. Hewitt, who lias been ashore at Auckland on sick leave, has been appointed 1 to the command of the Kaikorai, relieving Captain W. Whitefield for further orders. Captain R. M.
