ENDING AN AGE-OLD NUISANCE Steps are at last being taken in Germany to put an end to the nuisance of late-comers in theatres. It is announced that at the State Playhouse at Bielefeld theatre-goers who arrive after the performance has started will not be allowed to take their seats until the end of the first act. To enable them to follow the play outside the auditorium, loudspeakers connecting with transmitters on the stage are to bo installed in the foyers, bars, and passages..
