TRAINING COLLEGE ENTERTAINMENT

An interesting entertainment will be presented by the students of the Dunedin Teachers’ Training College at the Little Theatre on Wednesday. Mr George E. Wilkinson, lecturer in music, has been training the College Choral Society for some time, and a performance of high standard is to be expected. The major work;'of the evening will be Dunhfll’s cantata \ Tuba] Cain,’ and the programme will include part songs by Elgar, German, Rowley, and Brahms. Solo items will be rendered by Misses D. Gibb. E. M. Sproule, J. Grieve, and Messrs K. H. S. Allen, S. M. Mackay, and W. J. L. Young. The pupils of the Normal School will also be heard in choral and solo numbers. The College Dramatic Club will present the one-act play ‘ How He Lied to Her Husband,’ by Bernard Shaw.
