LONDON. Remarkable example of “thoughtfulness and care” on the part of a mother, who, not wishing to take her infant into the crush of a crowd gathered in a park to view a procession, laid the child down on the grass at the back of the crowd while she forced her way to the front. Fortunately a policeman saw the baby and took it into his care until the mother claimed it.
