The Bureau of the League Assembly has decided to convene the third Disarmament Commission, which has not met for three years. THE LEAGUE COMMITTEE. LONDON, October 1. (Received October 2, at 10.15 a.m.) The Associated Press Geneva correspondent says Mr W. J. Jordan and Mr S. M. Bruce will represent their Governments on _ the Disarmament Committee, at which France hopes to check what she thinks is a suicidal armaments race. Hungary announced her abstention in view of certain Powers’ claims to equality of rights.
