The building figures for the nin« lonths at Hamilton disclose that 78 muses were erected and other work ■ivolving the expenditure of £93,123, ■ impared with 69 houses and an expenditure of £76,163 for the correponding nine months of last year. In 934 only 31 houses and other work allied at £31,*245 were erected, showing that a boom has been experienced during the past two years.
