Mr J. W. Munro, M.IL, and Mr P* Neilson, M.P.. left for Wellington by to-day’s second express. ' The Rev, Y. S. Chau, of Auckland* Chinese missionary for New Zealand, travelled to.Timaru by the 11.35 express this morning. , Mr S. Stevens was a passenger for Wellington by the second express to&r E. J. Patton travelled to Wei- , Hngton by the second express this morning. . , Mr Will Appleton, Wellington, has been visiting Dunedin. He was recently appointed to the board of directors of Scoullar and Chisholm Ltd., and returned by the north express to-day. Inspector H. Martin, who has been transferred from Gisborne to Christchurch, replacing Inspector S. Rawle, who was recently transferred to Dunedin, has arrived in Christchurch to take up his police duties.' "Inspector Martin was formerly stationed in Dunedin. The appointment of Dr Rosa Collier as assistant medical superintendent was agreed upon at a meeting of the Waihi Hospital Board last week. ■ - Guests at the Grand Hotel to-day include Mr J. H.
