NEW SECRETARY OF WAR Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright WASHINGTON, September 26. President Roosevelt has announced the appointment of Mr Harry Woodring to succeed Mr G. H.- Dern as Secretary of War. Mr Woodring has been Acting Secretary of War since Mr Hern’s death.
