WOMEN’S CRICKET

HIGH SGHOCL OLD GIRLS’ CLUB At the annual meeting of the High School Old Girls’ Cricket Club the report for the 1935-36 season was adopted and the following office-bearers were elected Patron, Mr Walter Strang; president, Mr F. H. Campbell; vicepresidents —Messrs A. H. Jamieson, A. Miller, J. C. H. Somerville, D. M'Lachlan, and W. A. Divers. It was reported that the club funds were in a healthv condition, and there was a credit balance of £1 10s more than that of the •previous season. Miss H. Miller was congratulated on being vice-captain of the Otago A representative team which defeated Canterbury. It was decided that there would be a rule in the club to limit membership to High School or ex-High School girls only.
