(Received September 28, at 11.5 a.m.) Upon his return from New Zealand Mr Shaw, manager of the Rugby Union team, said New Zealanders had treated the team handsomely. _ The results of the tour were disappointing, but the team had been greatly handicapped through injuries and illness. He added: “ 1 really believe we should have won the first test, and New Zealand papers agreed that there were cases of illegal interference at vital moments that meant much to us.”
