Y.M.C.A. CLUB The annual meeting of the club was held on the 24th instant, when a large number attended. The chairman, Mr C. L. MolEtt, in his opening remairks, touched on the good season of 19(15-36 as evidenced in the annual report. The second grade A team, in havint; come through the season without delbat and winning the championship, had put up a good performance. In fact, this team had been victorious in its laslt four matches. The second grade B team had also put up a good performance. It was unanimousPy decided to make application to the O.C.A. for inclusion in the intermediate -grade competition, the performance of the club’s A team over the past few sea sons meriting this. It was decided to commence the season with net practice, if the wicket is available, on October o, and to officially open the season on October 17. It was decided to try and arrange a game with Milton on Labour Hay. The following officer's were elected: — Patron, Mr J. L. Salmond; president, Mr M. C. Henderson ; vice-presidents— Messrs P. Findlay, J, V. Love, H. P. West, 11. Herbert, G. E. Baird, C. H. Darrncott, D. K. Macdonald, and Mrs E. Aslin; club captain,, Mr A. Wilson; lion, secretary and treasurer, Mr J. H. Don Miller; assistant secretary and treasurer, Mr 11. Riley; Management Committee —Messrs C. L. Moffatt, K. Dixon, E. Stichbury, E. Nisbit, P. Soper; Selection Committee —Messrs H. W. Grimmett, R. Herbert, E. Nisbit; delegate to 0.C.A., Mr E-. Herbert.
