DRIVERLESS TRAIN
The mad career of a driverless and stbkerless train had a happy ending recently in Bulgaria. The bursting of a steampipe' op. the departure of the train from Ph.ilippopolis scalded the driver, and stolker, who, both severely injured, were; eventually obliged to jump the traiii. Other stations were immediately reformed by telephone, and the line cleaned so that the train passed through then ji, doing no harm. The’steep near the Sestrima station checlfed the train, where a second driver wtas able to board and brake it. i The onljy casualties were the two railway merf, who were taken to hospital suffering from serious burns.
