A man had been deep sea fishing off Whangaroa, and on coming ashore called at an accommodation house and sought the proprietor. One of the daughters of the household said, “ You’ll find Dad in ‘the living room.” The visitor entered that room, which was vacant, but noticed a bottle of Baxter’s Lung Preserver on the mantlepiece.
