GREAT RIDE

Mr Imre Peak, the famous Hungarian horseman who has ridden over Germany, Austria. Yugoslavia, Rumania, Bulgaria, Turkey, and Greece, covering 10,000 kilometres in his various rides, will shortly start a new ride from Budapest", writes the Budapest correspondent of the London 4 Observer.' Mr Peak proposes to ride over Italy, Spain, France, and then by Finland and Russia to Asia to search for the ancient home of the Hungarians. The ride will be made on a three-year-old called Arpad, which is Mr Peak’s third horse, the second horse (Hope) having died after a journey from Budapest to Angora and back. 'To coyer the expenses of the ride Mr Peak is editing a pamphlet called ‘ Travel Adventures, - which he will distribute on horseback before the date of the start.
