BOOTS FOR SHEEP
CURE FOR FOOT ROT CLAIM SUCCESSFULLY DEMONSTRATED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, September 25. (Received September 26, at 2 p.m.) A claim that footrot in sheep was curable in a week by the use of rubber boots equipped with zip fasteners was demonstrated by Sir Frederick Hobday (Dean of the Royal Veterinary College). The boots were constructed ia order to prevent the dressings rubbing off. It is stated that the idea has been successfully tested for the last six months.
