ATTACK DN SPEED REGDRD CAPTAIN EYSTON PREPARING Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, September 25. Captain Eyston is building a £20,000 oar to attack Sir Malcolm Campbell’s land speed record of 301 miles per hour. It will have a Rolls Royce engine of 2,700 h.p. and be capable of a, speed of 350 miles an hour. He says at least three American and one German cars are being built to attack the record. “As Sir Malcolm Campbell has now, retired, and for the sake of British prestige, I am having a go.’’ He has not yet decided where he will make the attempt on the record.
