The story conies from Moscow of a six-year-old child being carried off by a wolf while playing in a forest clearing. The misadventure is more common in India than in -Russia. There is on record the case of a man and his wife at Chupra in 1843 who went out to cut their crop of wheat and whose child was carried off by a wolf while they were at work. Six years later a wolf with three cubs and a boy was seen 10 miles away, and the boy was caught and recognised by the mother through the mark of a severe scald on the knee. ARE YOU EATING SUFFICIENT?
