COMMERCE FACULTY EXSTUDENTS

ANNUAL MEETING OF ASSOCIATION The sixteenth annual meeting of the Otago University Commerce Faculty Ex-Students’ Association was held last night, and was presided over by Mr A. K. Ibbotson. Moving the adoption of the annual report and balance sheet, Mr Ibbotson said that it was to be regretted that members did not attend the speech evenings as well as could be expected, and he asked them to show greater enthusiasm. The speaking, however, was always of a high standard. The report and balance sheet were adopted. The election of office-bearers for the ensuing year resulted as follows:—President, Mr -I. Spiro; vice-presidents— Messrs G. W. Reid, J. M, Paterson, and J. T. Patterson; vice-chairman, Mr C. R. Nicholson; secretary. Mr J. O’Dea; treasurer, Air R. T. Wright; committee —Messrs J. I). Hanning, L. j. Faliev, A. W. Gray, R. J. Cook, W. P. Wellington. N Kelly. W. J. MTnnes; auditor, Mr E. R. Grace. At the conclusion of formal business impromptu debates wore held.
