ANOTHER WIN FOR LOUIS ETTORE KNOCKED OUT IN FIFTH Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright PHILADELPHIA, September 22. Joe Louis, 14st 7£lb, knocked out El Ettore, 13st 7JIb, in the fifth round of a scheduled 15-round bout. Louis fought cautiously, and did not open up until he was sure he had nothing to fear from Ettore. Then he quickly scored a knock-out. The negro won all the four rounds on point margins. In the fifth round he started with a hard two-fisted attack which Ettore could not withstand. Two hard lefts in succession to the chin sent him under the ropes, and although he tried desperatel to rise at the count of nine he fell back on the canvas. A crowd of 50,000 witnessed the fight. THE ROSS-CARROLL FIGHT ■ SYDNEY, September 23. There was no development in the Ross-Carroll fight to-day except that the promoter, Mr Lucas, is now not sanguine of obtaining the remainder of the guarantee on time.
