Returning homo recently after a holiday, Mr Baldie, chief constable of Kirkcaldy, Fife, found that his house had been entered. Tho intruder had apparently slept in one of tho beds, i and then left in a suit o£ clothes and a pair of boots belonging to tho chief constable, leaving his own discarded clothes behind.
