‘OUTWARD BOUND’
The Dunedin Little Theatre Society’s four-night season of Sutton Vane’s three-act dramatic play will open at the Little Theatre this evening, produced under the direction of Mr Ernest Griffen, one of the society’s producers, with Mr A. H. Lawronson as stage manager. This play is one that should appeal strongly to all classes of the public, for it is entirely different from the generally accepted drama. Throughout the unfolding of the story there is not a dull moment or empty situation. Every line has a definite meaning, and is part oh the theme of ‘ Outward Hound.’ The cast comprises, in order of first appearance, Air H. H. Westwood, Miss Alice Clarke, Air C. Clem-
entson, Mr Gordon Whitta, Mrs A. C. Stephens. Air E. Fish, Clarke,- Air G. Alarks’, and Aliss B. Sullivan. The scene takes place on hoard an outward-bound ocean liner, the time being the present. The stage setting is modernly attractive, the society’s new “ curtain set ” being utilised to full advantage. The performance will commence sharp at 8, and no admittance will he given during the scenes. Reservations may he made at Begg’s till 5.30, and at the theatre (phone 12-146) from 7 o’clock.
