GENERAL. The Golf Committee presented its report, which stated that the date for the annua! tournament had been fixed for November 29. Upon an inquiry by Mr J. S. Skinner if the competition were to be kept exclusively to members of the club, it was decided that it should be open to all returned soldiers. Tho secretary of the committee was instructed to make formal application for tho Bajmacewen course on that date. —The report was adopted. The chairman of the Unemployment Committee, Mr M'Hutchon, reported that 91 applications For work had been dealt with, and lix men were given gardening instruction under Mr Tannock. Grants bad been made to country districts totalling C-37 4s.—The report was adopted. The New Brighton R.S.A. wrote thanking the Dunedin Association for its co-operation at the last Ranfurly Shield match. —Received. It was decided that representatives should be sent to the Balclutha and Roxburgh reunions, both on September 26.
