GOVERNMENT JOINERY FACTORIES.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Your issue of the 21st inst. contained a notification that a tender had been let to a certain building firm for the erection of two new Government joinery factories, to be erected in the North Island. This being work of a national character and the tenders not having been advertised in the local papers, it would interest numbers of your readers if you could inform them through what medium this contract was obtained.—l am, etc., Curious. September 22.
