DEATH OF INVENTOR (British Official Wireless.) Press Associatjon—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, September 21. (Received September 22, at noon) Mr Frank Hornby, a former Member of Parliament for the Liverpool Constituency, died there following an operation, in his seventy-fourth year. Mr Hornby was the inventor of the Meccano toys and the Hornby toy trains, and from a small workshop with one assistant, built up a business of worldwide reputation, with-factories covering five acres and employing 1,500.
