CHINESE CUP SEACLIFF OUTCLASSED DECISIVELY BEATEN BY HOSGIEL The ground was in perfect order for the Charity Cup game at Mosgiel, and with a faster team and a hue combination Mosgiel trounced Seacliff by 2 goals. . The teams were Seacliff. —Rankine; Anderson, Ruddiman; A. Jordan, Tniesdale, Thompson; R. Jordan, Montgomery, Baillie. Mosgiel.—Hall; Kitto, R. Steven; Stenhouse," Skinner, Williamson; Nicholson, Rogers, Davidson, Borne, iW. Steven. Mosgiel demonstrated their superiiority early in the game, swinging the ball around freely, but with line control. Their positional play was excellent, and with a fast ground the younger team had the Seacliff veterans yery tired in the closing stages. But for the excellence of Seacliff’s last three men the score would have been much larger. Scorers for the winners were Davidson (3), R. Steven, Borrie, Williamson, and W. Steven. Mr A. G. Smith controlled the game. PREVIOUS WINNERS.
