WAITAKI OLD BOYS
MEETING GF EXECUTIVE At a combined meeting of the executive and the Oamaru branch of the Waitaki High School Old Boys’ Association, it was decided, after communication had been made with the Dunedin, Timaru, and Christchurch branches, to hold Founders’ Day on October 17. Mr M. K. 'M'Culloch, who presided, stated that every effort would have to be made to ensure a successful function this year: otherwise the matter would bo dropped by the executive. He pointed out that the Dunedin branch anticipated sending a large contingent of old boys, while many Timaru members would be making the journey by car. Christchurch old boys had also promised t« be in attendance. In view of the fact that this year’s function would cover two days, a golf match was being arranged between the various branches. A lengthy pro-* gramme of activities _ for the first day was drawn up. and it was decided tfl ask-the Rev. A. H. Nordmeyer, M.P., to take the service on the Sunday morning.
