LONDON, September 18. (Received September 10, at 11.45 a.ra.) At the wool sales 10,856 bales were offered, including 4,707 from New Zealand. The total sold was 8,684- bales. There was a moderate selection. Withdrawals were frequent among inferior sorts, but others sold well to the Home trade at current rates. New Zealand lots sold as followsSlipe half-breds lambs, “ Belfast,” top price 18Jd, average 14Jd. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office, . nder date 18 th inst.: —The market is very active and the opening prices are being fully maintained. New Zealand greasy merinos—super., ’O-64’s quality, 17d to 17Ad per lb; ordinary, 60-64’s, 14d to 15d; inferior 60-64’s, HJd to 12d. Half-breds, 56-58’s, 13jd to 14d: 56’s, 12d to 13d; 60-56’s, IOJd to lid. Crossbreds, 50’s, lOd to 10id; 48-60’s, 9Jd to lOJd; 46-48’s, 9}d to lOdj 4446’ 5, 9Jd to 9Jdj 4044’5, 9d to 9Jd; 8640’5, 9d to 9Jd. :
