OPOSSUM SKIN SALE
The Dunedin Stock Agents and Wool Brokers’ Association reports as follows Approximately 70,000 skins were offered at the third sale of the season held yesterday, which ia probably a record offering for this market. The quality was generally good. There was a good demand from exporters, and in spite of the large offering the market did not show a great dqal of change. Compared with the August sale, prices may be quoted par to 3d lower for blacks and browns and 3d to Is lower for light colours. The following is the range of prices:— Super, blues, 13s to 16s 7d; first blues, 10s 5d to 12s 4d; second blues, 8s 7d to 9s 9d; third blues, 4s 3d to 6s 9d; super, greys, lls fid to 13s fid; first greys, 9s to lls Id; second greys, 7s Id to 8s 6d; third greys, 3s 3d to fis 9d; super, reds, fis 4d to 7s lid; first reds, 5s 9d to 6s lid; second reds, fis 6d to fis lid; third reds, 3s 4d to 3s 6d; super, blacks, fis 7d to 6s lid; first blacks, 4s 4d to 4s 7d; second blacks, 3s fid to 3s 9d; third blacks, 2s fid to 3s; super, browns, fis 6d to fis lid; first browns, 4s 4d to fis; second browns, 3s 7d to 3s lid; third browns, Is 6d to 3s 4d; small blue and greys, 2s 4d to fis Id; small blacks, Is 8d to 2s lOd.
