UNANIMOUS APPROVAL
MISS EILEEN JOYCE’S RECITALS It is only rarely that a visiting artist has the unanimous approval of all listeners, but this miracle seems indeed to be the case with Eileen Joyce. Whether or no she practices all day, the fact remains that listeners stop doing other things to switch her on during the evening’s programme. The authorities have booked her up for a six-weeks’ tour, and there are still three weeks left. Miss Joyce was heard from 3YA in studio recitals and the first of a senes of charity concerts during fast week and the early part of this, and at the moment she is appearing at 4YA. She leaves about the middle of next week for Auckland, and will then return to Wellington, where she will bo heard from 2YA for the last time on the present tour. ,
